AquaPaddle is the free timed 5km social paddle run by volunteers for all paddling abilities on different craft and waterways across the country. Meeting on ideally, Sunday mornings of the location’s choice, the timed social paddle provides an opportunity for those who want to improve their fitness and wellbeing, meet other like-minded paddlers and have fun!
How it works

A free 5k timed route for paddlers for you to improve your personal time and boost fitness and wellbeing
The AquaPaddle charity aims to help people’s mental wellbeing and physical health through paddle sport and by organising this 5k route for you today.

This is a 5k timed route however your time is not at the expense of your fellow paddlers on the water with you today. Please look out for each other, help each other if anyone takes a dip and have a great time!
The route -
You will travel through the fine city of norwich all the way to new mills yard where you will turn, head back through norwich to the premier inn before then coming back to the picturesque finish of BishopBridge
Along the river are some of the aqua paddle volunteers there to help and guide.
After the initial set off - please try to paddle on the right side of the river and go careful to avoid any obstacles such as the lovely overhanging willow. The river is still open to other river users.
First aid kit and defibrillator are held here at the start if anyone needs medical attention.
When you come through the finish line please stick to the right so we can check you off.
We would love as many of you to join us at the end here where the REDLION have been kind enough to let us use their premises and there is tea coffee and cold refreshments also available.

How to enter
REGISTER
You must register on the AquaPaddle website for each event in order to have your time included. If you have not registered you won't be able to have your name shown, however your time will still be registered.
BRINGING YOUR OWN BOARD
This is free and all you need to do is make sure you have a safety leash, BA and wearing appropriate attire. This is a charity and it would be awesome if you could also dontate to AquaPaddle
HIRE A BOARD
If you don't have your own equipment, thats totally fine. You can hire from us for a nominal fee. of £10
